Job description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Administrator with deep expertise in Okta Identity and Access Management (IAM) to support the administration, security, and ongoing enhancement of a large-scale enterprise identity platform. This role is responsible for managing Okta services, integrating enterprise applications, implementing secure authentication and authorization policies, and ensuring reliable identity operations in a highly regulated environment. The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on experience administering Okta, implementing modern identity standards, and troubleshooting complex authentication and single sign-on (SSO) issues while partnering with security, infrastructure, and application teams., * Administer, maintain, and optimize the Okta Identity Platform.
- Integrate enterprise applications with Okta using SAML, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and OAuth 2.0.
- Configure and manage authorization servers, API access, application integrations, and group-based access controls.
- Design, implement, and maintain authentication and authorization policies.
- Deploy and manage Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and adaptive authentication policies.
- Troubleshoot authentication failures, SSO issues, user provisioning problems, and application integration challenges.
- Support identity lifecycle management and access governance best practices.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, configuration standards, and operational procedures.
- Partner with security, infrastructure, and application teams to implement secure identity solutions.
- Respond to operational support requests and assist with incident resolution., * Collaborative enterprise technology environment supporting secure cloud identity services.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of hands-on Okta administration experience in an enterprise environment.

Strong knowledge of identity and authentication protocols including:

Experience implementing and administering Okta Workflows.

Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts and identity governance best practices.

Experience configuring authentication, authorization, user access, and security policies.

Ability to independently administer, troubleshoot, and support enterprise identity services., * Minimum 5 years of hands-on Okta administration experience in an enterprise environment.
