Job description

We currently have a vacancy for a Senior SharePoint Administrator fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will work remotely. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client's IT team. Your tasks:

  • Install, upgrade, patch, configure, administer, document, and support all SharePoint environments and related services and applications;
  • Secure SharePoint environments in accordance with Security policies;
  • Monitor usage logs and farm/service health and performance including resolving associated issues and improvements;
  • Optimize SharePoint content for indexing and searching Diagnose and troubleshoot SharePoint-related errors/issues and provide resolution in a timely manner;
  • Manage backup and restore/recovery, quotas, service accounts' expiry, custom apps client secret expiry, SSL certificate activation/renewal;
  • Deploy application-related changes to Test, UAT and Production environments, and ensure Change Management policy is adhered to;
  • Facilitate testing, defect resolution, and user acceptance of customized apps, flows and scripts created by SP Admin Team;
  • Use enterprise issue tracking system to track issues and requests;
  • Monitor and manage enterprise-wide applications hosted in SharePoint;
  • Provide technical support to SharePoint developers, support team and users, and
  • Collaborate with other ICT groups for operational support (e.g. SAP integration, ADFS, Azure, NLB, etc.);
  • Liaise with vendors (e.g. Microsoft; Gimmal) on defects, enhancements, errors, and resolutions;
  • Prepare and validate Business Continuity Plans/Disaster Recovery procedures.

Requirements

  • University degree in combined with relevant IT professional experience of 8 years;
  • Minimum Five (5) years of hands-on professional work experience with large enterprise level implementation supporting SharePoint governance, administration including installation/upgrade/migration, security, management, monitoring, system development;
  • Minimum Five (5) years development of PowerShell scripts for ease of operations, maintenance and familiarity with the software development lifecycle process for CRs and deployments;
  • Minimum of three years hands-on experience with PowerShell, Microsoft Azure DevOps/Visual Studio Online, SQL database and related components (SSAS, SSIS and SSRS);
  • Minimum of 3 years practical experience managing a electronic database driven records and archive management, content management, or document management system;
  • Experience with applications releases deployment (deploy changes to Test, UAT and Production)
  • In-depth working experience with Windows Server technologies including Windows Server 2012/2016, IIS, and virtualization;
  • Experience with SharePoint 2013/2016/Online;
  • Practical experience in other web-based technologies (HTML, XML, .NET) would be considered an asset;
  • Excellent command of the English language.
