ph3On-Board Aircraft Performance Software Developer /h3pLa información a continuación detalla los requisitos del puesto, la experiencia esperada del candidato y las cualificaciones correspondientes./ph3Job Description /h3pAn opportunity for a Software Developer - Aircraft Performance Tools has arisen within Airbus Operations, Getafe (Madrid).The selected candidate will join the Airbus Flight Physics Capability Operations team (1GZC), a transnational team responsible for developing, delivering, and maintaining a rich portfolio of Aircraft Performance Modelling Simulation tools.This role focuses on developing On?Board Aircraft Performance tools to generate, control, and deliver aircraft performance databases embedded in avionics functions (such as the Flight Management System) across all Airbus families.You will also work with simulation tools that emulate these embedded functions and collaborate closely with the local end?user community within Airbus Commercial Aircraft and Airbus Defence Space, especially for the A400M program./ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliCapture, understand, and translate internal Airbus end?user needs into tangible objectives, software specifications, and user stories./liliImplement required software modifications with support from an experienced subcontracting software development team./liliPerform software verification testing, including the definition of robust acceptance criteria./liliSupport end?users in Airbus Commercial Aircraft and Airbus Defence Space by investigating and resolving identified problems in a timely manner./liliManage administrative and project tasks associated with the software tools portfolio, including subcontracting activities./liliLearn and understand business processes across Flight Physics and especially Aircraft Performance to improve the tool landscape./li /ulh3Skills and Qualifications /h3ulliEducation: Aeronautical, Industrial, Software Engineering degree or a related discipline./liliTechnical knowledge: Strong software development skills and solid knowledge of Linux environments and DevOps/CI?CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Artifactory)./liliSoft skills: High adaptability, enthusiasm, intellectual curiosity, and a can?do attitude for effective interaction with transnational teams, subcontractors, and customers./liliLanguages: Advanced level in English (essential for daily work within this transnational team)./liliExperience: Programming in Python, C/C++, Java, Matlab, SimuLINK, and Fortran (all part of our tool portfolio)./liliNice to have: Experience with DO?200 Standards (Processing Aeronautical Data)./liliGeneral knowledge of Flight Physics, Aircraft Performance, or Airline Operations./li /ulh3Benefits /h3ulliVacation days plus additional days?off throughout the year./liliCompetitive salary./liliHybrid work model when possible, promoting work?life balance./liliCollective transport service subject to working calendar/home location./liliLife insurance, health insurance, employee stock options, retirement plan, and study grants./liliOn?site facilities such as free canteen, kindergarten, and medical office./liliOpportunities to collaborate in social and corporate social responsibility initiatives./liliExcellent upskilling opportunities and development prospects in a multicultural environment./li /ulpThis job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth./p /p #J-*****-Ljbffr
