Job description

As FinOps & License Management Professional, your role will be to act as the subject-matter expert and primary point of contact for IT consumption-related topics. You will be responsible for establishing transparency, governance, and optimization for consumption-based IT services, with a strong focus on cloud, SaaS, and usage-driven cost models. Your position will enable data-driven decisions while supporting innovation and scalability. You are going to define, monitor, and report on FinOps KPIs such as cost efficiency, forecast accuracy, and savings realization. Additionally, you will provide fact-based insights on cost, usage, and consumption patterns to support cost-efficient use of IT services, accurate forecasting, and effective governance in a complex enterprise environment. Your tasks Analysing Microsoft Azure structures for cost efficiency and performing ongoing optimization analyses with technical teams Tracking usage, budgets, and forecasts for consumption-based services; identifying financial risks, anomalies, and optimization opportunities Developing and refining the FinOps framework; defining roles, processes, and accountability for managing cost allocation, tagging, and lifecycle management Evaluating IT contracts, tracking spends across vendors, and providing recommendations for contract renewals, renegotiations, and sourcing decisions Promoting cost-conscious behavior and helping stakeholders understand cost drivers and financial implications of IT consumption

Requirements

Few years of experience managing and analyzing consumption-based and usage-driven cost models in large enterprise and international IT environments Solid understanding of IT budgeting, forecasting and the ability to structure complex topics independently in a dynamic enterprise environment Hands-on expertise in FinOps and cloud cost management, particularly with Azure Cost Management & Billing Good understanding of IT service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and how they translate into cost and contracts Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting Languages: English - proficient/fluent Nice to have: FinOps Foundation certification
