Job description

To start as soon as possible, full time / part time, permanent As a hands-on AI & Data Engineer you turn architecture and standards into working data products, agents and integrations, from prototype to production. You Build the agents, pipelines and integrations that put AI into production. About the role

  • Build and operate data pipelines, data products and integrations on the lakehouse.
  • Build agents and multi-agent workflows using Copilot Studio, Databricks and open frameworks (LangChain / LangGraph, LlamaIndex), including tools, memory, RAG and MCP integrations, from prototype to production.
  • Implement agent evaluation and observability in delivery: evaluations, guardrails, tracing and CI/CD.
  • Optimise performance and efficiency through model routing, caching and right-sizing, and surface usage / cost signals to the platform and infrastructure teams who own cost management.
  • Create reusable components, agent templates and reference implementations others can adopt directly.

Requirements

  • University degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field.

  • Hands-on working experience in MLOPS principles and any agent framework in a regulated decentral environment.

  • Strong data engineering skills (Python / SQL, Spark) and DataOps, with Databricks and Fabric.

  • Ability in Hands-on agent building with Copilot Studio, Databricks and open frameworks (LangChain / LangGraph, LlamaIndex), plus MCP, tool and memory design and prompt engineering.

  • Experience with LLMOps/AgentOps: agent and model evaluation, guardrails, tracing and CI/CD.

  • Cloud (Azure/AWS), infrastructure as code, monitoring and observability. Advantageous, but not essential

  • Experience delivering AI use cases in a large, multi-business organisation.
