Job description

Our client is looking for a DevOps Engineer with the hands-on experience and passion for driving the DevOps culture within the company/environment. This role requires a solid understanding of the SDLC, Azure Cloud Architecture, knowledge of best practices and the ability to apply them as our client automates the build and release pipelines. This engineer will work closely with all areas of the technology organization within the company, including the Developers, DBA's and Infrastructure Admins of various backgrounds to set up development, testing and production environments as they tackle various projects and challenges.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on DevOps Engineering experience - designing and implementing continuous delivery and/or DevOps solutions or architecture patterns.

  • 5+ years of working in an Agile delivery environment.

  • Extensive experience using Azure DevOps for designing/implementing continuous delivery.

  • Experience designing CI/CD pipelines to deploy code from the following: o Azure Devops to on-prem databases o Aszure cloud services o Kubernetes o Container applications

  • Experience managing code repositories: o Merging code & quality checks o Continuous integration o Automated deployment

  • Experience using - Jenkins, Git, Puppet, Chef, Maven, Ant, Ivy, Urban Code, Docker, ETC.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to effectively drive production across all aeras of technology - Infrastructure, Development, Security, and Product Management.

  • BA in related field.
