  • Translate business questions into analytical approaches and clearly communicate complex spatial findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support ad-hoc spatial analysis, forecasting, and deep-dive investigations as needed.

Process Improvement & Enablement

  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes, reduce manual effort, and automate recurring spatial analysis tasks.
  • Support analytic maturity by enabling stakeholders with geospatial insights, documentation, and best practices.
  • Contribute to the evolution of analytics standards and long-term GIS strategy.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics, GIS analysis, or a related role.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and GIS Software (e.g., ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, ArcGIS Online/Enterprise).

  • Experience building dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Sigma Computing, or ArcGIS Dashboards.

  • Hands-on experience managing and querying spatial databases (e.g., PostGIS, Esri Geodatabases).

  • Proven ability to partner with business stakeholders and deliver insights that drive action.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Experience supporting engineering, construction, telecommunications, or operations-focused organizations.

  • Experience with Python (specifically ArcPy, GeoPandas, or Shapely) for data analysis and automation.

  • Familiarity with Remote Sensing, LiDAR data, or CAD-to-GIS workflows.

  • Experience working in fast-paced, scaling environments.

Key Competencies

  • Spatial Thinking: Ability to understand and manipulate data in 2D and 3D space.
  • Data Storytelling: Translating maps and charts into a cohesive narrative.
  • Stakeholder Influence: Guiding teams on how to use location intelligence effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: High standards for cartographic quality and data topology.
  • Ownership: Proactive approach to solving data gaps and process inefficiencies.
