Job description
Northrop Grumman's Corporate Chief Information & Digital Office (CIDO) is seeking a to support the Engineering & Manufacturing Solutions (EMS) organization. The selected candidate will support engineering tools in multi-sector enterprise environments (unclassified and classified). The position will deploy, support, customize, and maintain the suite of Commercial and Open-Source applications used by Software and Systems Engineering. The ideal candidate will be with in driving distance to a Northrop Grumman office in Florida, Maryland, or Virginia.
- Configure, deploy, and administer commercial and open-source SW Factory software.
- Develop code to aid in administration of the SW Factory.
- Provide end user support to SW Factory suite of applications.
- Monitor, address, and resolve production SW Factory application incidents, reports.
- Interfacing, collaboratively, with the other development and administration teams inside of Corporate.
- Maintain strong expertise and knowledge of current and emerging technologies and products.
Requirements

5 Years of relevant experience with a Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 1 Year with PhD.

Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government level security clearance (or higher) to be considered.

Candidates must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, access to as a condition of continued employment.

Must have experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems.

Ability to work well in a virtual team environment, with team members located throughout the country.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Ability to multitask and juggle more than one task at a time.

Self-starter with the ability to independently resolve issues and deliver results.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Server/Client Software installation experience.

Understanding of core IT competencies (Networking, Servers, DBs, Apps).

Experience programing in scripting languages (Particularly Python).

Experience in deploying applications via Kubernetes.

Strong technical (administrative is preferred) foundation in several of the following technologies:

Jenkins, Docker, GitHub, Gitlab, Key Cloak, SonarQube, Nexus Repository Lifecycle, Grafana, Atlassian (Crowd, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Fisheye and Crucible).

Administration experience with Postgres.

Development experience with ServiceNow.

Candidates have a current U.S. Government level security clearance (or higher).

CompTIA Security+ certification.

AWS console administration experience.

Primary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $171,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
