NOC Technician

• Monitor and maintain computer networks, telecommunications infrastructure, and network systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Respond to network alerts, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and resolve incidents within SLA timelines.
• Perform network monitoring, remote surveillance, and routine performance checks to identify and prevent outages.
• Manage incidents, changes, and problem tickets using ServiceNow.
• Coordinate with field technicians, engineers, vendors, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to resolve network issues.
• Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and support portals while communicating service-impacting events.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network outages, incident reports, and quality control records.
• Troubleshoot IP connectivity, hardware, and telecommunications issues involving VPN, BGP, MPLS, and SIP.
• Interpret network diagrams and technical documentation using tools such as Microsoft Visio.
• Support remote and cloud-based network operations, including AWS Cloud environments.

• 1+ years of experience in Network Operations Center (NOC) or telecommunications support.
• Knowledge of IP networking, network monitoring tools, and troubleshooting methodologies.
