The Force Protection Division at Leidos currently has an opening for a Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer who holds a SECRET clearance to support our Counter -small Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-sUAS) projects with our Air Force customer. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the C-sUAS Engineering and Integration mission, providing force protection engineering and integration support to Air Force sites across the globe. In this mission we integrate data from existing C-sUAS infrastructure, radars, and sensors at various locations/sites and make the data available via a User Interface in an Operations Center environment.
The ideal candidate for our Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer position will be capable of executing independent projects and collaborating with a variety of teams, including hardware and software developers, customers, site and Leidos personnel. The candidate
The candidate will be responsible for conducting the technical and administrative tasks including preparing Risk Management Framework (RMF) artifacts, defining cybersecurity requirements, conducting cyber scans and generating the associated reports for the purpose of maintaining an Authority to Operate (ATO) for multiple systems. The candidate will manage the cyber team's tasking using JIRA and will work closely with the customer to define and prioritize the work across the Leidos and Government cyber teams. Experience with the DoD eMASS system is a plus.
This position will report to the program Technical Director and will require close coordination with program management, engineering staff, and customer stakeholders. The ideal candidate would be located near one of the program test facilities, which include the greater Boston region (preferred) and Eglin AFB, FL. Candidate must be willing to travel to those locations regularly.
Requirements

Must possess and maintain active DoD Secret clearance or above to be considered for role. (US Citizenship required)

Bachelor's degree and eight (8) - twelve (12) years of experience

Experience managing Risk Management Framework (RMF) artifacts and maintaining system Authority To Operate (ATO) certification

One or more DoD Manual 8570 IAT II/III certifications prior to start, such as CompTIA Security+

Able to multi-task, manage a team of cyber engineers, and function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, and a strong problem-solving mindset

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Experience with the Atlassian toolset (JIRA, Confluence)

Familiarity with the Atlassian suite, including Jira and Confluence

Experience supporting USAF or other DoD customers

Knowledge of agile development methodologies and management

Previous experience working with C-sUAS sensors and effectors and/or Command & Control (C2) systems a plus
