Kalo: From Code Chaos to One-Click Polyglot Codegen

What this session covers

Classical software development is a relay race across layers - DB schemas, backend DTOs, API specs, front-end types - where every hand-off risks a dropped baton. Low-code promises speed but collapses at scale; no-code can’t express nuance; pure code drowns us in boilerplate.

Kalo breaks the gradient: we define truth once in declarative, human-readable specs (YAML / JSON / OpenAPI), then chain modular compile plugins that generate all downstream artifacts like Go structs, TypeScript models, SQL migrations, docs - keeping every layer in lock-step. Result: faster delivery, zero drift, and a plugin marketplace where anyone can add new targets without touching domain code.
