HR & Tech: Why can't we be friends?

Cats & dogs, techies and HR. But why is it like that and how can we surpass it in 2025?

Building trust is vital to building rapport between Tech teams and their respective HR partners. However, in a survey from ServiceNow (Nov, 2024), over 50% of employees state that they trust AI more than they trust their HR. What drives the sense of distrust and how can we move on?

In this session I will talk about factors of trust and pillars of strong cross-department collaboration: transparency, proximity & rapport. I will also clarify different types of business values and how HR can measure what they bring to the table to find common language with their tech counterparts.
