World Congress 2026 Europe - Virtual Stage

My ongoing quest to code in VR

June 30, 2026

What this session covers

Spatial Computing promised us floating 3D interfaces and complex hand gestures to control them in novel ways. Let me show you why we need none of that for coding and why terminals and keyboards are still the best ways to interact with our machines. In this session, I’ll share with you all the ways I’ve tried to establish a consistent development environment and how I achieved a setup that even works natively on a VR headset.
