Building the Agentic Economy with x402 and Stablecoins

In this hands-on workshop, participants will build a complete x402 payment flow from both the service provider and AI agent perspectives. Working end-to-end, attendees will create a payment-gated API, implement a facilitator and resource server, and equip an AI agent with stablecoin payment capabilities using the Algorand blockchain.

By the end of the session, participants will have built a system where an autonomous AI agent can discover a paid resource, receive a payment challenge, execute an on-chain transaction using the USDC stablecoin, verify settlement, and access premium data — demonstrating how x402 enables machine-to-machine commerce and the emerging agentic economy.
