JavaScript TypeScript React

Job description

You will help radically redefine how our customers explore and visualize their observability data. Working alongside designers, mobile engineers, backend developers, and leadership, you will build user experiences that are intuitive, responsive, and genuinely stand out.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to the technical architecture and long-term vision for our frontend across multiple products
  • Developing scalable, highly optimized, and maintainable frontend code in TypeScript and React
  • Building and maintaining the frontend infrastructure that powers development, testing, and deployment
  • Leveraging your JavaScript expertise to shape our SDKs and contribute to API design and implementation
  • Implementing logging and monitoring to track performance and user behavior
  • Exploring new technologies and tools that push our user experiences forward
  • Communicating directly with customers to announce features and troubleshoot issues

In your first 30 days you will ramp up through accelerated onboarding, ship targeted bug fixes and smaller feature work, and get familiar with our frontend architecture. By 90 days you will own multiple frontend projects on the roadmap, propose and implement architectural improvements, and engage directly with customers during integrations and feedback syncs.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional frontend development experience
  • Deep technical knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Proven track record of defining and delivering frontend architecture at scale
  • Strong understanding of web performance optimization, security practices, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to self-direct, break down tasks, and prioritize
  • Located in North America or a European Union time zone

Benefits & conditions

  • Competitive salary and benefits
  • Flexible hours and fully remote work
  • Generous PTO
  • Professional growth opportunities and the chance to lead initiatives that shape the company
  • Regular in-person team meetups and events
  • The opportunity to work on genuinely novel systems in the observability space, with a small team of kind and talented people
