Data Quality Analyst

We are recruiting for a skilled and commercially aware Data Analyst to join a growing Data Assurance & Quality team within a large, regulated organisation undergoing significant digital and data transformation. This role is a 12 month FTC., As a Data Analyst within the Data Assurance & Quality function, you will work closely with Data Stewards, governance leads, and business stakeholders to identify data quality issues, improve reporting standards, and strengthen governance controls across the organisation.

• Process optimisation, * Investigate data issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions to improve data accuracy and integrity
• Drive and support business stakeholders and Data Stewards in creating and delivering data improvement plans
• Define and monitor data quality and performance metrics aligned to business rules and governance standards
• Produce data quality reports, dashboards, and scorecards, communicating findings clearly to business stakeholders
• Maintain records of end-to-end data processing and information inventories to support audit and regulatory requirements
• Support the completion and assurance of regulatory returns and compliance reporting
• Assess the impact of data-related changes and ensure compliance with agreed data standards and definitions
• Support Data Governance Forums and working groups through reporting, engagement, and governance activities
• Work collaboratively across business and technical teams to improve data controls and processes

• Previous experience in a Data Analyst, Data Quality Analyst, MI Analyst, or similar role
• Strong experience with data governance and data quality frameworks
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience with reporting and dashboarding tools such as Power BI
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience creating data quality metrics, reports, and scorecards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams
• Ability to investigate and resolve complex data issues
• Understanding of governance, audit, and regulatory reporting environments
