RESIDENTIAL COUNSELOR - PER DIEM - NOC SHIFT

Michael’s House is currently seeking a dynamic Residential Counselor - Per Diem - NOC Shift responsible for maintaining a safe milieu and providing patient-centered care for patients in a residential treatment setting that specializes in treating patients with co-occurring disorders. • Prepares and/or conducts psycho-educational groups.

Do you have a valid Certified Substance Abuse Counselor license?, Do you have experience in Working with individuals with substance use disorders?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * High School Diploma or GED required

• Minimum 1 year experience in the health field or equivalent
• Licensed or certified as a chemical dependency counselor preferred
• Must be registered to become licensed or certified as CA AOD counselor within 90 days of hire
• Experience working with addictions and/or co-occurring disorders strongly preferred
• Microsoft Office suite proficiency
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
