Propulsion Integration Engineer - Level 3

You will be the Propulsion Integration Engineer for the Propulsion Team which is responsible for advancing propulsion system capabilities across Lockheed Martin Aeronautics.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Propulsion Integration Engineer you will be responsible for leading and coordinating technical analysis, modeling, testing, and integration of propulsion systems with the aircraft.

Your responsibilities will include:

Perform installation, testing, and validation of new propulsion systems. Develop and refine propulsion system interfaces. Coordinate with cross functional design teams. Support program travel and collaborate with engine manufacturers and external partners.

The selected candidate must possess an active Interim Secret clearance to start., * Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or equivalent engineering discipline, equivalent experience and combined education considered

• Experience in gas turbine integration and/or analysis

• Matlab or Simulink software packages Desired Skills:

• Proficient in NPSS, Python, C++, or similar languages
• Experience interfacing with customers and suppliers
• Experience leading and interfacing with other functional teams
• A good understanding of thermodynamics and jet propulsion fundamentals Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
