Computer Programmer

Directly support the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), F/A-18 & EA-18G Fleet Support Team (FST) at Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) Naval Air Station (NAS) North Island, California. Duties will include:

• Create, modify, and test the code, and scripts that allow computer applications to run.
• Work from specifications drawn up by software and web developers or other individuals.
• May develop and write computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information., This type of fraud is normally carried out through online services such as false websites, or through fake e-mails or call from people claiming to be from the company. These persons offer fraudulent employment opportunities to applicants and often ask for sensitive personal and financial information. The fraudsters may also request recipients to provide personal information and/or to make payments as part of their fake recruiting process.

Do you have experience in Visual Basic?, Experience: Has three (3) to 10 years of experience in Software Design, Development, and Test evaluation, and experience with specific Project programming languages to include at a minimum; C, C++, SQL, Oracle, Java and Visual Basic.

Education: BS or BA degree in a Computer Science or “Relevant Technical Discipline”.

Current Secret clearance is required., Has three (3) to 10 years of experience in Software Design, Development, and Test evaluation,

and experience with specific Project programming languages to include at a minimum; C, C++, SQL, Oracle, Java and Visual Basic.

Minimum Education Requirements:

BS or BA degree in a Computer Science or “Relevant Technical Discipline”.

Minimum Physical Requirements:

Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods, in an office environment.

This base pay range is specific to residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Washington, and any other state that may require such disclosure. Compensation in other geographies may vary.
