Job description

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.

What you’ll do:

  • Data Extraction and Preparation: Collect and prepare data from structured and unstructured sources (e.g., datalakes, databases, data warehouses, cloud, internal/external). Ensure data quality through cleaning and preprocessing. Design, build, and analyze large-scale, complex datasets (100+ TB), applying strategic thinking to data use and design.

Requirements

  • Coding Solutions, Algorithms and Feature Engineering:Perform feature engineering and exploratory data analysis. Develop end-to-end coding solutions including data extraction, cleansing, model development, tuning, interpretation, deployment, and ML Ops monitoring. Proficient in Python, R, Scala, or similar, with strong experience in ML libraries (e.g., Spark, Scikit-learn, Pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, TidyVerse, AutoML).
  • Model Development, Deployment and Optimization: Build, evaluate, and optimize ML models, including hyperparameter tuning and custom model development. Deploy and monitor models to ensure performance, reliability, and explainability. Experienced across the full AI lifecycle and tools like MLflow, Databricks, or VS Code. Strong knowledge of supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, reinforcement learning, optimization, and knowledge graphs.
  • Visualization and Collaboration: Develop visualizations and reports to communicate insights and partner with cross-functional teams. Utilize advanced visualization tools and coding libraries (e.g., ggplot, D3.js).
  • Generative AI:Design and implement generative AI solutions including GANs, VAEs, and transformers. Apply fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and RAG techniques. Experience with agentic architectures and tools like GPT models, DALL* E, and Stable Diffusion for text and image generation.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) required from an accredited University in a Quantitative field of study such as Data Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering or Physics.
  • 1+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.
