At the Faculty of Computer Science, Institute of Artificial Intelligence, the Chair of Machine Learning for Computer Vision offers a position as Research Associate / PhD Student (m/f/x) Machine Learning

(subject to personal qualification employees are remunerated according to salary group E 13 TV-L)

starting at the earliest possible date. The position is limited to three years. The period of employment is governed by the Fixed Term Research Contracts Act (Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz - WissZeitVG). The position offers the chance to obtain further academic qualification (usually PhD).

Tasks:

• scientific teaching and research activities
• independent, curiosity-driven basic research in one of the following areas:
• Machine Learning and Image Analysis
• Machine Learning and Combinatorial Optimization
• Machine Learning and Automated Theorem Proving
• publication of research results in leading journals and at top conferences
• contributions to teaching and academic self-administration
