Job description

  • Design, develop & maintain cloud native solutions & analytics dashboards related to proactive monitoring and network hygiene
  • Ensures appropriate documentation for all development and modification.
  • Ensures integrity and security of institutional data.
  • Design Data flow diagrams to define work flow and data structure diagrams to refine data base needs in a simple system.

Requirements

  • Solid grasp on architecture principles, design principles and design patterns
  • Ability to translate software requirements to low level design.
  • Evangelize clean architecture, clean code practices and follow the same.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the current state of web technologies and best practices
  • Operate with a security and reliability-first mindset
  • Have a playbook for running agile teams with minimal overhead
  • Have the skills to create simple solutions for complex problems quickly; often benefiting from tried-and-true techniques
  • Put user value before tech, learn quickly, work iteratively and naturally seek collaboration
  • Strong communication skills
  • Comfortable working as a team, helping train, guide, and lead others in building projects start to finish
  • Perform code reviews, * 8+ years Engineer experience, extensively with Django/Flask, React and relational databases in microservice based architecture
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering preferred
  • Strong experience with AWS technologies, including Route53, CloudFront, API Gateway, Aurora RDS, DynamoDB, ElasticCache, EKS, ECS, S3, AWS SDK, Lambda,and SQS
  • Proficient in writing unit and integration test cases and hands-on experience with complete CI/CD tooling, including GIT, CICD tools, and security scans
  • Knowledge of Linux administration, adept at using console commands, scripting, and utilities such as Python and BASH
  • Demonstrated experience in building REST APIs and utilizing OpenAPI/Swagger Spec
  • Proven experience with Agile Development, CI/CD tools, project tracking tools, and familiarity with GRPC, GraphQL, and automation tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet.
  • Experience in 3 party integrations and custom application development and deployment
  • Proficient in SQL/NoSQL and other databases/persistent stores including: MySQL, Postgres, Redis, DynamoDB, ElasticSearch and MongoDB
  • Experience with BI Tools like Tableau, PowerBI

Experiences desired:

  • Experience dealing with large scale, technologically complex accounts which are constantly challenging product capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
