Job description

The AI Infrastructure Repair Platform organization builds the software systems that manage and automate OCI’s end-to-end hardware repair lifecycle. The team owns core repair workflows, repair analytics, repair platform capabilities, inventory-aware repair execution, and zero-touch automation that help reduce MTTR, improve fleet reliability, and scale repair operations across current and future sites.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Requirements

4+ years of software engineering experience.

BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Proficient in Java.
Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.
Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
Experience with REST API and service-oriented development, * Hands-on experience developing services on a public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
Experience delivering and operating large-scale, highly available distributed systems.
Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, etc.
Experience building multi-tenant, virtualized infrastructure is a strong plus.
Strong understanding of databases, NoSQL systems, storage, and distributed persistence technologies is a plus.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
