QA Technician

Responsibilities of this position include Quality Assurance checks of products, production, processes as well as pre-op checks. Taking samples, reading smoke charts, accurately completing paperwork and logs, and other tasks as assigned.

Do you have experience in Organizational skills?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, The purpose of this position is to safely and accurately inspect, measure, and record quality inspection information correctly of raw and cooked products. Perform other assigned duties as required or assigned to produce service that meets or exceeds the safety, quality, and productivity standards. On occasion, train others to perform maintenance duties or train new employees in processes and procedures. In addition, this position works with other plant personnel in a team environment and complies with company policy, regulatory and company standards.

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who is confident calling out issues as they see them. This position does not allow jewelry, false eyelashes, and requires safety shoes. Bilingual is a plus. We have openings in Wautoma (8 am - 4:30 pm) or (1 pm - 10:30 pm with alternating weekends, and in Coloma (6 am - 4:30 pm, M-F)

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Previous experience working in QA and/or a food production environment preferred.

Effective in dealing with multiple priorities and tasks.

Ability to work as a team and independently as needed.

Able to coordinate and communicate well with others.

Well organized and detail-oriented..

Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours and weekends as needed.

Demonstrate problem-solving abilities.

Computer skills such as Outlook, Excel, Word.

Ability to be on your feet for extended periods and climb stairs as necessary.
