Job description

Our client is seeking a CRM Product Owner to lead a strategic Salesforce transformation initiative focused on consolidating multiple Salesforce environments into a single, scalable global platform. This highly visible role will serve as the business and technical owner of the Salesforce ecosystem, responsible for defining the vision, architecture, governance model, and roadmap while driving implementation and long-term sustainment.

The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between Commercial Operations, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Finance, IT, and external delivery partners, ensuring the Salesforce platform supports business growth, operational excellence, and future scalability. The initial priority will be leading a complex Salesforce consolidation effort resulting from a recent acquisition, including solution design, integration planning, data harmonization, stakeholder alignment, and adoption., * Lead the consolidation of multiple Salesforce environments into a single scalable global Salesforce platform

  • Own Salesforce solution architecture, design decisions, and technical direction across the full implementation lifecycle
  • Gather, document, refine, prioritize, and manage business requirements and user stories across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and facilitate decision-making related to process design, data standards, workflows, account structures, integrations, CPQ, territory management, and case management
  • Develop scalable Salesforce architecture and determine appropriate use of internal resources, contractors, and implementation partners
  • Provide leadership and direction to Salesforce administrators, developers, consultants, and third-party delivery partners
  • Define and maintain governance standards, business processes, documentation, training materials, and operating procedures
  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to establish data ownership, governance, KPI definitions, process controls, and operational standards
  • Lead data harmonization activities including field standardization, duplicate reduction, migration planning, validation, and data quality improvement
  • Define and oversee integration requirements between Salesforce and ERP, marketing platforms, websites, customer support systems, and other enterprise applications
  • Manage project priorities, risks, dependencies, issue resolution, stakeholder communication, and delivery timelines
  • Support testing, deployment, adoption, change management, and post-go-live stabilization activities
  • Establish a long-term Salesforce roadmap focused on continuous improvement, platform optimization, and business value realization, This is a contract opportunity supporting a strategic enterprise Salesforce transformation initiative. The role may be performed remotely within North America; however, candidates must be willing and able to travel periodically to client locations in the United States as required for project workshops, planning sessions, and stakeholder meetings., As part of our recruitment process, Systematix may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to assist with resume screening, candidate matching, and recruitment administration. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Salesforce product ownership, CRM transformation, Salesforce business systems, commercial operations, sales operations, or related business-facing Salesforce leadership roles
  • Strong expertise with Salesforce platform architecture, core objects, business process design, workflow automation, reporting, security, and administration concepts
  • Experience leading Salesforce implementation, consolidation, migration, enhancement, or transformation initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience gathering requirements, documenting business processes, defining standards, and translating business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce integrations and enterprise application architecture
  • Experience supporting ERP integrations and understanding upstream and downstream business process impacts
  • Experience working with Salesforce administrators, developers, architects, consultants, and third-party implementation partners
  • Strong project leadership skills with the ability to manage priorities, risks, timelines, dependencies, and competing stakeholder interests
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to operate independently, navigate ambiguity, and drive initiatives from concept through implementation, * Experience leading Salesforce instance consolidations resulting from mergers, acquisitions, or large-scale organizational transformations
  • Deep experience with Salesforce architecture, integration strategy, and enterprise-scale CRM design
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ, territory management, case management, quote-to-cash processes, and commercial operations workflows
  • Experience supporting data governance initiatives including data ownership, stewardship, quality management, and master data standards
  • Experience with Salesforce data cleanup, harmonization, migration, and deduplication initiatives
  • Experience working with global teams across multiple business units, functions, and geographies
  • Experience with Jira, Git, DevOps, or similar project and release management platforms
  • Experience developing scalable documentation, governance frameworks, training materials, and operational standards
  • Salesforce certifications are considered an asset
