Job description
This is a senior architectural role bridging the gap between heavy mechanical logic and elite digital interfaces. We require an advanced programmer who speaks language of complex plant rooms. You will act as the vital translation layer, extracting raw mechanical data from heavy infrastructure and making it meaningful within the OKTO software ecosystem.
Core Responsibilities:
- Tridium & Schneider Integration: Serve as the absolute authority on bridging OKTO’s digital interfaces with heavy mechanical infrastructure. You must have deep, practical expertise in pulling and normalising data from Tridium Niagara frameworks and Schneider BMS/GRMS environments.
- Crestron Architecture: Write, deploy and refine advanced, flawless Crestron codebase to serve as the control and visualisation layer for complex digital estates.
- System-of-Systems Logic: Filter thousands of irrelevant mechanical data points from the plant room to identify and highlight only critical performance metrics, fault tolerances, and user-facing analytics.
- Flagship Commissioning: Step directly onto highly complex, multi-million-pound sites. Familiarity with Schneider KNX infrastructure is non-negotiable, particularly for executing the complex lighting and GRMS logic required on top-tier hospitality deployments like the Admiralty Arch project.
- Warranty Mitigation: write codebase so robust and logically sound that it actively drives down post-handover warranty call-outs, supporting our aggressive 5-year ownership and service plans., We are a high-velocity business built on uncompromising standards. We require a highly disciplined integration architect who understands that our software is the beating heart of a modern building. You must have the precision to deliver flawless, zero-fail interfaces directly to senior estate directors.
Requirements
- BMS & GRMS Mastery: Extensive hands-on experience with Tridium Niagara and Schneider Electric architectures. You must know how mechanical systems operate logically, and exactly how to interface with them digitally.
- Advanced Crestron Programming: Deep, demonstrable experience in writing complex Crestron Code from the ground up for enterprise or luxury environments.
- Protocol Fluency: Absolute mastery over core integration protocols (BACnet, Modbus, IP, RS232, KNX).
- High-Velocity Execution: You must possess the grit and technical authority to troubleshoot complex data bottlenecks on active sites, operating with total autonomy and zero excuses.
