Job description

Digital Design Engineer - Southampton - Competitive Salary

My Client is a specialist engineering consultancy working within wireless communications and advanced electronic systems. They are looking for talented Electronics Engineers to join their expert team, working on complex projects.

The Role:

  • Work across the full project lifecycle from requirements capture through to implementation and delivery
  • Develop solutions for complex communications and electronic engineering challenges
  • Contribute to FPGA, DSP, SDR, RF, and embedded systems development projects
  • Support the development of communication waveforms and signal processing solutions

Requirements

  • Strong background in digital design, wireless communications, or embedded systems
  • Experience with FPGA development using VHDL, Verilog, MATLAB, and/or Simulink
  • Knowledge of RF systems, DSP techniques, and software development
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Able to manage project responsibilities and work across multiple technologies

Eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC) and full right to work in the UK
