Job description

Responsible for partnering with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements, specifications, and related artifacts for the development and enhancement of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. Supports the translation of business needs into effective system and reporting solutions and assists in executing ad hoc analysis requests under moderate supervision. This role collaborates closely with system users and Subject Matter Experts to ensure solutions align with business objectives., * Collaborates with business stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts to elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for new systems and enhancements to existing solutions.

  • Translates business needs into clear, actionable requirements, including process flows, use cases, and technical specifications to support solution design and development.
  • Evaluates current business processes and identifies opportunities for improvement, including recommendations related to data structure, reporting capabilities, and system functionality.
  • Facilitates communication between business teams and technical resources to ensure alignment on project scope, priorities, and expected outcomes. Participates in solution design discussions to ensure proposed approaches meet documented business requirements and deliver intended value.
  • Develops and executes test plans to validate that solutions meet business requirements and quality standards, supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) activities as needed.
  • Supports implementation efforts, including documentation, user training, and post-deployment validation to ensure successful adoption of solutions. Assists in analyzing data and generating insights to support business decision-making and operational improvements.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of business analysis practices, including requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience working with business intelligence data ingestions/data replication and data warehousing environments, including the ability to interpret and analyze data to support business needs.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and data querying to support analysis and validation of requirements (advanced scripting not required but beneficial). Strong organizational skills with the ability to document requirements, processes, and decisions clearly and consistently.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and facilitate discussions to drive alignment and outcomes. Ability to translate technical concepts and analytical findings into clear, business-friendly language for non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field with 2+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis
