Job description

Rehlko is expanding its activities in the Data Center market in Germany and is looking for a DC Site Technician to support operations at a key customer site in Frankfurt.

In this role, you will be part of the on-site technical team, contributing to the reliability and performance of critical equipment. You will work closely with experienced technicians, subcontractors, and the service coordination team to ensure high service quality and customer satisfaction.

Main missions

As a DC Site Technician, you will support daily technical operations and maintenance activities on site.

  • On-Site Technical ActivitiesPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel generator systems and associated equipmentAssist in troubleshooting and fault diagnosis under guidance of senior techniciansSupport first-level intervention during incidents or equipment failuresEnsure tools, spare parts, and work areas are properly prepared and maintainedExecution & SupportExecute maintenance and repair tasks according to Rehlko procedures and safety standardsSupport subcontractors during interventions (mechanical, electrical, automation)Follow site procedures including safety rules, permits, and LOTO requirementsParticipate in testing activities and commissioning support when requiredCoordination & CommunicationReport daily activities to the DC Service Coordinator or senior technicianProvide clear and accurate service reports and intervention feedbackMaintain good communication with on-site teams and customer representativesEscalate technical issues when needed

Requirements

Do you have experience in Microsoft Office?, You are a motivated and hands-on technician looking to develop your expertise in critical power systems within a data center environment., * Good knowledge of diesel generators, engines, or electrical/mechanical systems

  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and technical drawings
  • Ability to follow troubleshooting procedures and technical instructions

Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience in power generation, industrial maintenance, or technical service
  • Experience in critical environments (data centers, hospitals, utilities, etc.) is a plus

Soft Skills

  • Hands-on, proactive, and reliable
  • Strong attention to safety and quality
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop technical competencies
  • Ability to work in a structured and disciplined environment

Languages & Tools

  • German: fluent
  • English: basic to intermediate
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office and digital reporting tools
