Job description

This role focuses on designing, operating, and continuously improving local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and wireless networks. You’‘ll collaborate with a small team to monitor and maintain network connectivity while proposing design improvements. The position offers the opportunity to work on large-scale network projects and initiatives, allowing for significant impact within the organization., * Design and operate LAN, WAN, and wireless networks to ensure optimal performance and connectivity.

Monitor and maintain network connectivity, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
Collaborate with other network staff to propose and implement design improvements for large-scale network projects, including Fortinet and Cisco environments.
Document network configurations and changes to maintain accurate records and facilitate troubleshooting.
Interact with internal clients to understand their networking needs and provide effective solutions.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in related IT infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
Hands-on experience in configuring BGP, OSPF, IPSEC site-to-site VPN, and VoIP.
Experience with enterprise remote access solutions such as SSL VPNs.
Proficient with backup and restore technologies and best practices.
