Strategy Cloud Migration Expert

We are looking for a Strategy Cloud Migration Expert to join our Smart Data Ecosystem program, within the Experience Layer Team (Strategy One Engineering), as soon as possible.

This role is focused on supporting the migration of the existing MicroStrategy (Strategy) on-premise platform to Strategy Cloud, working closely with the team lead and existing Strategy developers and administrators. This is a hands-on contribution role (not a lead position), aimed at reinforcing the current team with deep Strategy Cloud migration expertise.

This role reports to Head of Service Management & Application Development.

Context

• This role will be reporting to the Head of Service Management & Application Development, in the Technology Department.

Objective

• The objective of this role is to be responsible for the migration of IPC’s MicroStrategy platform to Strategy Cloud by bringing hands-on expertise and best practices.
• The expert will support the existing team in ensuring a smooth, secure and performant transition while integrating with the broader data ecosystem., * Support the migration from MicroStrategy on-premise to Strategy Cloud
• Collaborate closely with the team lead and existing Strategy developers and administrators
• Provide expertise and best practices on Strategy Cloud migration
• Assist in the migration and validation of dashboards, reports, and datasets
• Contribute to integration with Oracle Exadata backend
• Support connectivity with Databricks data platform
• Collaborate with teams managing ETL processes in Hitachi Pentaho
• Support integration with IAM / SSO providers
• Contribute to performance optimisation, scalability and security of BI solutions
• Participate in testing, validation and post-migration stabilisation
• Document processes, standards, and operational runbooks
• Facilitate knowledge transfer within the team

Tech stack

• Languages & Frameworks: Python (required for customizations)

• Data & Databases: Oracle (legacy), SQL, Databricks, Pentaho

• Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years experience in BI / Analytics
• Strong experience with MicroStrategy / Strategy platform
• Proven experience contributing to cloud migration projects
• Experience working within existing teams on migration initiatives
• Experience integrating BI with complex data platforms (Exadata, Databricks, ETL tools)
