Job description

A well-funded European PropTech company is looking for a Product Engineer to join a lean, high-impact team building agentic AI systems that observe, decide, and act on real-world property operations - with humans in the loop. This role sits at the intersection of product thinking and engineering execution: you’ll own features end-to-end, modernize legacy systems, and turn messy operational workflows into reliable, autonomous software., * Own features end-to-end and develop deep enough business understanding to drive solutions independently.

  • Design and build agentic AI workflows for guest communication (chat and voice), operational decision-making, and property task management.
  • Modernize legacy systems and redesign data structures to meet evolving platform requirements.
  • Shadow real operational workflows to uncover inefficiencies, workarounds, and hidden steps.
  • Translate complex, messy processes into clean, production-ready software.
  • Scope, ship, and iterate on problems - not just handle tickets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align product and engineering work.
  • Operate with high agency and ownership to deliver results rapidly and safely.

Requirements

Do you have experience in TypeScript?, * Required: Strong experience with React and TypeScript for full-stack development; demonstrable engineering output you can show during the hiring process.

  • Fluent English (spoken and written) - strong communication skills including proactive flagging of blockers.
  • Ability to self-manage: plan work, communicate progress, and drive outcomes without heavy oversight.
  • Track record of shipping quickly while exercising sound judgment about what can safely break.
  • Comfortable working in an agentic engineering style (e.g., running multiple AI coding agents and terminals in parallel).
  • Familiarity with Express, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and AWS; experience with Linear and Notion for task tracking and documentation.
  • Thrives in a small, accountable team focused on outcomes over meetings.
  • Nice to have: Experience with agentic AI or AI agent systems; background in hospitality or PropTech; prior startup founding experience; product-minded approach with strong product sense.

Benefits & conditions

  • Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 USD annually
  • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge agentic AI systems in a fast-growing scale-up
  • High ownership, low bureaucracy environment
