Job description

We’re looking for a Senior Java Software Developer to join the CIT team. The CIT team manages all mission-critical internal software and tools, that directly drive core business operations, such as our in-house CRM/ERP, sales channels, support systems, Help Center and more.

You’ll work in a multi-disciplinary international team with a clear focus that can mostly work independently.

As a senior developer we expect you to both implement and help design software changes.

Responsibilities

  • Writes and implements maintainable and efficient code and tests (LLM supported where feasible)

  • Coordinate and communicate with team members

  • Understand the business needs and translate them into technical solutions

  • Recommends and makes changes and enhancements to improve the quality of products and procedures to improve team efficiency

Requirements

  • A minimum of four years of java back-end experience.

  • Good knowledge of Java 11 or higher, JPA/Hibernate, Spring/Spring boot

  • Experienced Git user (we use Github)

  • An ability to create clear and structured code - Clean Code.

  • Keen to take initiative and work well as part of a team.

  • Interested to experiment with LLM’s to improve and speed-up the Software Development Process

  • Expertise in using/writing RESTful APIs.

  • Fluent in English
