Overview

We are seeking a Principal Security Architect to lead the design, governance, and assurance of secure architectures across large-scale application transformation programmes. This role will ensure security is embedded into cloud adoption (Azure) and modernisation initiatives, aligning with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements.

  • 6-Month Contract
  • Hybrid from London (3 days a week on-site)
  • Paying unto £950 per day

Requirements

  • Security Architecture & Assurance - Define and review secure-by-design architectures for applications migrating to Azure; conduct reviews, identify risks, and drive remediation.
  • Advisory & Governance - Provide expert guidance on cloud security best practices; support design authority forums and ensure compliance with security frameworks.
  • Stakeholder Engagement - Partner with architects, engineering teams, and senior stakeholders to align on security strategy and solutions.
  • Reporting & Improvement - Deliver clear security posture reporting, track risks, and contribute to continuous improvement of security practices.
  • Strong experience in application transformation (re-platform, re-architect, re-factor)
  • Deep knowledge of cloud security (Azure), security frameworks, and enterprise architecture
  • Proven track record in security architecture reviews and risk assessments
