JuniorCloud Engineer (Azure) - Remote, UK based applications only SC clearance highly preferred although eliigbility is a must (UK based resident for 5+ years) - no sponsorship available ASAP start date, full time - fully remote role About the Role We’re looking for an experienced JuniorCloudEngineer (Azure)to join a leading Security consultancy.This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in designing, automating and maintaining secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. Working closely with software developers and engineering teams, you’ll build and optimise CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure, and help deliver high-quality applications quickly and securely. If you’re passionate about Azure, Infrastructure as Code and DevOps best practices, we’d love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient software delivery. Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure. Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). Develop scripts and automation to improve deployment and operational efficiency. Collaborate with development teams to streamline build, release and deployment processes. Monitor, maintain and optimise cloud environments for performance, availability and security. Apply DevOps best practices to improve reliability, scalability and resilience. Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure and application issues. Essential Skills & Experience 1-4 years’ experience in a DevOps, Cloud Engineer or Platform Engineer role. Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure. Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar platforms. Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code. Scripting skills using PowerShell and/or Python. Good understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking and security principles. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Desirable Skills Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Application Insights or similar monitoring solutions.
