Python Automation Engineer

A fast-growing semiconductor company is seeking a Python Automation Engineer to develop production-quality software that brings advanced measurement and optimisation algorithms to life on hardware platforms.

Working closely with RF and systems engineers, you’ll help deliver robust Python-based software used to control, tune and validate next-generation technologies.

What you’ll do as a Python Automation Engineer:

Develop and maintain Python-based software

Integrate, test and validate software on hardware prototypes and production systems

Work closely with hardware and systems teams to ensure software-hardware alignment

Develop hardware interfaces, drivers and engineering tools

Implement robust software practices

Diagnose and troubleshoot software and algorithm performance issues

Strong software development experience with Python

Experience developing reliable, production-quality code

Knowledge of software testing, modular design and version control

Familiarity with instrument interfaces and communication protocols
