Test Automation Engineer

As a Quality Automation Engineer, you’ll play a key role in defining and implementing modern Quality Engineering strategies, with a strong focus on test automation, continuous improvement, and software delivery excellence.

You’ll work closely with developers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle while helping teams adopt best practices and emerging technologies., * Design and implement modern Quality Engineering and test automation solutions

• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks
• Drive improvements in software quality, productivity, and delivery performance
• Collaborate with engineering teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC
• Support continuous integration and continuous delivery practices
• Champion engineering best practices and quality-focused culture
• Explore and leverage emerging AI and GenAI technologies within testing and automation

• Strong background in Quality Engineering and test automation
• Experience implementing modern automated testing practices
• Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language such as:
• JavaScript / TypeScript
• Python
• Java
• C#
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and quality processes

Desirable Experience:

• Hands-on experience with GenAI technologies and AI-assisted testing approaches
• Experience using tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar AI-assisted development tools
• Exposure to Playwright and modern automation frameworks
• Knowledge of LangChain, LangGraph, or AI application development
• Experience working within cloud environments, Due to the nature of the work, successful applicants must be eligible for SC Security Clearance, requiring 5 years of continuous UK address history, typically with no periods of 30 consecutive days or more spent outside the UK.
