Job description
The mission of the Systems Engineer is to support the design, implementation, and operation of secure, stable, and compliant infrastructure under the guidance of senior engineers, while developing the technical judgment and systems thinking required for long-term ownership.
Systems Engineers contribute to infrastructure projects and ongoing system improvements by executing well-defined engineering tasks, validating configurations, and producing accurate documentation (network diagrams, creating baseline configuration via templates to show current state configurations, creating/updating Standard Operating Procedures).
| They are expected to learn how individual components interact across servers (on premises and virtual), identity (Entra, AD), networking (on premises and virtual), and cloud services (primarily M365 Commercial | GCC | GCCH), and to understand how infrastructure decisions impact security, compliance, and operational resilience. |
Operating across multiple client environments, Systems Engineers build confidence by following standards, asking good questions, and learning from complexity, gradually moving from task execution toward broader system responsibility while upholding CompliancyITâs commitment to security, documentation, and excellence in communication.
