Job description

Data Analyst - Contract (6 months) Hybrid / Remote £350-£450/day Are you a data analyst who thrives on complex challenges and wants to make a real impact in the finance tech infrastructure space? We’re working with a leading organisation that’s investing heavily in data-driven decision-making and operational excellence. What you’ll do: Analyse and visualise large, complex internal datasets (hundreds of thousands of records) to drive insights for technology and supplier asset management. Build and update dashboards and reports in Tableau, ensuring clarity and actionable insights for senior stakeholders. Work closely with both technical and non-technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into compelling data stories. Cleanse, profile, and model data using SQL, DBT, and Snowflake. Requirements

get involved in broader SQL, DBT, and AWS financial data projects. What we’re looking for: Proven expertise in Tableau (development and design), with a strong portfolio or Tableau Public profile. Advanced SQL skills; hands-on experience with Snowflake and DBT is a plus. Experience working with large datasets and performing data profiling and cleansing. Familiarity with AWS (especially S3; Lambda less important), or similar cloud platforms. Experience with IT asset management is a bonus. Excellent communication skills - able to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to get up to speed quickly and work independently within a high-performing team. The details: 6-month contract, with the possibility to start as soon as possible (target: 10th November). Hybrid working - typically one day in the office every other week. Join a team of four analysts (this will be the fifth member), working alongside both contractors and permanent staff. Two-stage interview process: first with the hiring manager, then with a senior technology leader.
