The Tier 1 People Experience Representative is the vital front line for our People and Culture support team, dedicated to providing timely, accurate, and exceptional support experiences for our teammates and leaders. In this phone-based service center role, you will guide employees through company policies, HR tools, and transactional processes, ensuring every interaction is positive and professional. Your primary goal is resolving issues on the first contact, using your expertise and critical thinking, while escalating more complex matters as needed., * Front-Line Support: Serve as the initial point of contact for HR inquiries via telephone, website, and email, utilizing procedures, policies, and reference materials (including ERP systems) to provide solutions.
- Customer Centricity: Deliver exceptional service, demonstrating patience, active listening, and a proactive, solutions-oriented attitude in every interaction.
- Case Management: Resolve routine issues confidently, document all incoming inquiries using a case management tool, and handle transactional tasks to ensure rapid and thorough resolution within service level agreements (SLAs).
- Escalation: Proactively and appropriately escalate complex issues to People Operations Specialists, Centers of Excellence (COE) teams, and the HRIS team to ensure service levels are met.
- Communication: Effectively explain HR processes simply and clearly, ensuring teammates and leaders are consistently informed through collaborative communication. Tailor communication to diverse stakeholders, including physicians and leaders, to maintain trust and professionalism.
- Performance: Consistently achieve performance metrics and uphold quality guidelines, striving for high teammate satisfaction and service quality scores.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify root causes of problems, recognize process gaps, and actively contribute to implementing process improvement opportunities to optimize service delivery.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources (e.g., HR internship, HR Assistant, Payroll Assistant, Benefit Assistant) OR 5 years of experience in a customer service role.
- A demonstrated passion for service and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Proven ability to multitask efficiently and apply critical thinking to resolve issues.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of core Human Resources functions.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience working with human capital management systems (HCM), case management, and knowledge management tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with colleagues in a fast-paced environment., * Bachelor’s (Required)
