Security Engineer

• develop, implement and document security policies and conduct risk assessments
• deploy, operate and maintain a range of security tools and platforms, and regulatory frameworks
• develop and implement user security awareness programs and conduct user assessments

• a bachelor’s degree in a technical field
• excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• excellent troubleshooting skills and demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and analyze complex situations, potentially with incomplete information
• ability to articulate security strategies and risk-mitigation frameworks, present information clearly, and adapt message to different audiences to facilitate cross-functional collaboration
• experience implementing and maintaining various security tools and technologies (firewalls, anti-virus/end-point detection and response, intrusion detection and prevention, encryption, vulnerability scanning, identity and access management, etc.)
• understanding of security topics or experience implementing security programs in software development, web application security, security governance, and incident response
• current security-specific certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), or CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) (considered a plus), High school diploma or equivalent Associate’s degree Bachelor’s degree Master’s degree Doctoral or professional degree Other Yes No Yes No

The base salary for this position ranges from $191,000 to $235,000. In addition to base salary, total compensation includes a discretionary bonus, participation in an incentive compensation plan, and very generous benefits.
