Job description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Android Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile application development and a passion for creating high-quality, user-friendly applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Android applications that meet the needs of our users while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform. Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to define app features and functionality. Integrate APIs and third-party libraries to enhance application performance. Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance. Write clean, maintainable code following best practices in software development. Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to mobile development. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from concept through deployment.

Requirements

Proficiency in Android SDK, Java, and Kotlin programming languages. Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services. Familiarity with MySQL databases for data storage solutions. Knowledge of Linux operating systems for development environments. Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles. Experience with version control systems such as Git or Jenkins for continuous integration. Familiarity with C#, C++, or Swift is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Benefits & conditions

$55 - $65 an hour - Contract
