Job description

Tesla’s SQA Infotainment Team is looking for a Software QA Engineer focused on User Interface Software. Join the talented team responsible for validating Tesla’s firmware releases and fast-paced software development cycles. The ideal candidate combines strong software testing expertise with automation scripting proficiency and a passion for electric vehicles.

  • Develop detailed test plans to validate Tesla’s User Interface software and enhance vehicle testing strategies
  • Design and implement test scripts to automate User Interface workflows
  • Build frameworks to optimize automation pipelines and integrate results into daily/weekly reporting
  • Validate vehicle functionality and ensure seamless integration of software updates
  • Investigate field-reported issues, collaborate with internal Software QA Engineers, and perform root-cause analysis
  • Execute functional and regression testing for release validation and triage results

Requirements

  • Experience in software testing, automation scripting (Python, C++, or similar), and test framework design
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
  • Passion for problem-solving, electric vehicles, and delivering exceptional user experiences

Expected Compensation $113,424 - $248,880/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
