IT Hardware Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Hardware Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for staging, configuring, repairing, refurbishing, and quality testing (QA) computer hardware used in a retail environment. You will also maintain accurate inventory records, process warranty claims, and ensure all equipment is prepared for deployment according to company standards., * Stage and configure computer hardware for deployment.

• Perform bench-level diagnostics, troubleshooting, and hardware repairs.
• Refurbish and quality test returned hardware equipment.
• Track and manage hardware assets using inventory management systems.
• Process warranty claims and maintain accurate documentation.
• Record inventory movements and production details.
• Package and prepare equipment for shipment.
• Maintain quality standards and follow established procedures.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with hardware repair experience, strong mechanical aptitude, or technical education who enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment., * High School Diploma or GED.

• Experience working with computer hardware, electronics, or technical equipment.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn new processes and systems., * Associate degree or completion of a 2-year technical program.
• Experience with hardware repair, configuration, or deployment.
• Experience in inventory control or asset management.
• Knowledge of hardware diagnostics and quality assurance.
• Experience working in a warehouse, production, or technical support environment.
• A+, Network+, or similar technical certifications are a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday.
• Regularly lift up to 30 pounds.
• Occasionally lift up to 80 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a warehouse or production environment., * Do you have at least 1 year of experience repairing, configuring, staging, or troubleshooting computer hardware or electronic equipment?
• Are you comfortable standing for extended periods and regularly lifting up to 30 lbs (and occasionally up to 80 lbs with assistance) in a warehouse or production environment?
• Are you available to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and do you have a High School Diploma or GED?
