The SAP Master Data Manager is responsible for the governance, quality, and lifecycle management of master data across SAP systems. This role ensures data accuracy, consistency, and integrity to support business operations, analytics, and compliance. The ideal candidate will lead data governance initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement in data management processes
This position reports to the VP/ GM of Fluid Solutions. This role is hybrid and based in North Andover, MA.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
* Define and implement master data governance frameworks, policies, and standards within SAP.

Establish data ownership, stewardship models, and accountability structures.

Lead data governance councils and ensure alignment with business objectives

Monitor, analyze, and improve data quality across domains (Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance, etc.).

Develop and track KPIs and metrics related to data quality and completeness.

Conduct root cause analysis and remediation of data issues

Oversee creation, maintenance, and retirement of SAP master data.

Ensure adherence to data standards and naming conventions.

Manage data workflows, approvals, and automation within SAP (e.g. S/4HANA, MDG, BTP).

Identify opportunities to streamline and standardize data processes.

Drive automation and digital transformation initiatives related to data management.

Implement best practices aligned with SAP capabilities

Partner with business units (Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Procurement, IT) to align data requirements.

Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for SAP master data processes.

Provide training and guidance to data stewards and end users

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and audit standards.

Support audit activities related to master data.

Working Conditions
While performing the job duties, you will be working remotely in an office environment. You may be required to occasionally travel to and work in the offices at our manufacturing locations for meetings, trainings, or as otherwise required by Company management.
Requirements
Bachelorās degree in information systems, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field

7+ years of experience in SAP Master Data Management or Data Governance

Strong expertise in SAP modules (e.g., S/4HANA, MDG, BTP)

Knowledge of data management frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK)

Project management experience (Agile, PMP, or similar)

Proven experience managing data quality frameworks and governance initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, * Ability to remain seated at a desk or workstation for extended periods.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks like typing on a keyboard or using a mouse for extended periods.
- Ability to physically move around the office, organize or transport files, packages, or other office-related materials.
- Ability to read documents, use a computer, and perform data entry tasks.
- Ability to communicate clearly with management and coworkers, particularly in meetings or phone calls.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment such as computers, printers, phones, and copiers.
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry light objects, such as office supplies, documents, or small equipment.
