Job description
This Cloud Architect will be responsible for deploying and managing cloud resources within BankUnited’s established AWS environment using Terraform. The individual will support large-scale cloud and data analytics initiatives, ensure all infrastructure adheres to existing guardrails and cloud standards, and maintain and enhance current Terraform-based infrastructure. They will also partner closely with CloudOps by providing documentation, knowledge transfer, and transition support as responsibilities are handed off across teams. This is a highly hands-on execution role focused on implementing and supporting existing cloud architecture rather than redesigning environments or driving strategic cloud decisions.
Requirements
- AWS experience
- 3+ years of Terraform experience
- Cloud Infrastructure experience
- Ability to execute within existing architecture and standards Documentation and knowledge transfer skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Azure exposure
- Multi-cloud experience Large enterprise cloud environments
