Container Platform & Kubernetes Administration: Deploy, manage, upgrade, and optimize enterprise container platforms such as Rancher, VMware Tanzu, and OpenShift, while ensuring the stability and performance of Kubernetes clusters running in on-premises environments.

Infrastructure Automation & IaC: Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools such as Ansible and Helm to automate infrastructure provisioning, cluster operations, application deployments, and platform scalability.

Observability & Platform Reliability: Design, implement, and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using technologies like Prometheus and Grafana, ensuring platform resilience, availability, and operational excellence.

Security & Governance: Enforce security best practices through RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), Network Policies, secrets management, and Kubernetes Pod Security Standards to maintain a secure and compliant container ecosystem.

Incident Management & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve platform and cluster-related issues, including node failures, infrastructure incidents, and containerized application performance bottlenecks, minimizing service disruptions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with DevOps, development, and infrastructure teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines, enhance deployment processes, and continuously improve container platform performance and efficiency.

Kubernetes Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes components and architecture, including the control plane, kubelet, pods, operators, and container platform fundamentals, as well as key integrations such as CNI and CSI plugins.

Hands-On Production Experience: Proven experience deploying, administering, and supporting enterprise container platforms such as Rancher, VMware Tanzu, and OpenShift in production environments, including the lifecycle management of Kubernetes clusters.

Kubernetes Application Lifecycle Management: Strong understanding of how containerized applications are deployed, scaled, updated, and operated within Kubernetes environments, with the ability to evaluate the benefits and limitations of the platform.

Automation & Scripting Skills: Proficient in developing and maintaining automation scripts using Ansible, Python, and Bash, with the ability to create, customize, and troubleshoot Kubernetes manifests and Helm charts.

DevOps & Container Ecosystem Tools: Practical experience working with modern DevOps and cloud-native tools, including Git, Argo CD, Harbor, JFrog, Ansible, and Sysdig, to support application delivery, automation, and platform operations.

Other requirements: EU Citizenship. Resident or available to relocate to Belgium.
