Job description

Under general supervision of the IT Program Manager or designee, provides technical and audio-visual support to users by installing, upgrading, troubleshooting, and maintaining end user equipment, desktop hardware and software. Sets up user profiles and provides basic training to new users. Creates and maintains technical documentation related to end user hardware and software. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
  • One year’s experience in desktop hardware or software support.
  • Must possess and maintain an A+ Certification or 3 years’ experience in desktop or software support.
  • Must possess or have ability to obtain within first sixty days of employment and must maintain a valid New Mexico Class D driver’s license.
  • Successful completion of thorough background investigation, including FBI fingerprint check. Must not have been convicted of a felony.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Security+ Certification
  • Two years’ experience with Microsoft 365
