Job description

Siemens Digital Industries is looking for a Pricing Analyst to join our newly expanded Pricing team. The primary responsibility of this role is the creation and implementation of pricing strategies across our Automation, Motion Control, and Services portfolio. This position will communicate at multiple levels within the organization by supporting operational activities as well as strategic initiatives.

This role is located in our Johnson City TN office for on-site collaboration with the team.

  • Translating complex pricing strategies into actionable commercial plans that align with business objectives

  • Strengthening internal collaboration and ensuring pricing strategies are fully aligned with company-wide goals

  • Providing critical analytical support for strategic business planning and financial forecasting

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in pricing, marketing, sales, or product management within a B2B industrial environment

  • Advanced knowledge of an ERP system. Including pricing conditions, order processing, and other areas in the Sales and Distribution Module; SAP preferred.

  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills for liaising with stakeholders and external partners.

  • Strong understanding of multi-channel pricing structures and partner incentives

  • Experience in negotiating pricing agreements across diverse B2B sales channels (Distributors, OEMs, etc.).

  • Experience effectively communicating pricing policies to business partners and customers

  • Ability to travel 5%

  • Ability to balance critical thinking with operational execution

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas.

  • Experience developing tiered pricing models and implementing price optimization strategies

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; including Microsoft Access database, Advanced Excel (pivot tables, modeling) and data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau)

  • Proven project management skills for complex initiatives

  • Experience applying value-based pricing methodologies (Products, Services and Solutions)

  • Proficient in contract law, regulatory compliance, and standard legal terminology.

  • Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving mutually beneficial outcomes.

  • Maintain a centralized contract repository and track key deadlines (renewals, terminations, audits).
