DevOps Engineer- CI Poly - $200K+

Our client is a small specialized company providing multi-faceted, high impact technology solutions to our nation’s Intelligence Community. They have been in this industry for over 20 years and are well established in this space. They are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a fast-paced, mission-focused, and passionate team. the tech stack here is large and complex: thousands of servers in a world-wide distributed environment, RedHat, CentOS, Juniper and CISCO networks. Virtualization, CephFS, IBM GPFS, SANS, HP and IBS storage, Gluster, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Puppet, Chef, Bash, Csh, Perl, Python, Ruby and all sorts of Cloud technologies (not just AWS).

Continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) experience

-Experience using Podman or Dockers for Containerization and Kubernetes for Orchestration

-Both domain and admin experience with Linux distributions: Red Hat, Fedora or CentOS

-Experience designing and administering virtualized environments with VMware and Red Hat packages

-Understanding. of TCP/IP stack and network protocols, near CCNA knowledge level

-Both server and workstation security. hardening

-Familiarity with Puppet, Ansible, Cobbler for server automation

This team is located in Fairfax, VA and work is 100% on-site. This role requires US citizenship and a current TS/SCI + CI Poly level clearance.
